- Alexis Stavrakis / Αλέξης Σταυράκης (Scar) was credited as Aléxandros Stavrákis / Αλέξανδρος Σταυράκης, his full name.
- The character Shenzi was credited as Σέντζι on the DVD, while on the Blu-ray she was credited as Σένζι.
- For unknown reasons, when the character Simba screamed "no" as his father fell, it was left in English. It was however dubbed when it was shown again as the flashback scene.
- This was also the same case with the Taiwanese Mandarin dub.
