Винкс Клуб is one of several Macedonian dubs of Winx Club. It was produced in-house by Sitel, where it premiered on January 21, 2017. It replaced the previous Macedonian dub of the series that had aired on Kanal 5 with the title Клубот Винкс, and aired alongside the Serbian dub that was available on Serbian channels that could be recieved in North Macedonia. All eight seasons were dubbed, as well as the four one-hour specials.

Notes[]

  • The songs are not dubbed, and are instead retained from the English versions or left as instrumental. Unlike the majority of dubs aired by Sitel, they are also not subtitled. The only exceptions were the seasons 1-3 opening theme song "Under the Sign of Winx" and a few minor songs, such as the cleaning song from episode 107.
    • "Under the Sign of Winx" was left in English in the first two episodes, but once the dubbed version debuted, it was used as the opening theme song for seasons 4-7 as well, simply being cut to the length of the opening sequence as it runs longer than them. In the four one-hour specials and season 8, the respective opening theme songs are left instrumental, instead of using a cut version of "Under the Sign of Winx."
    • In season 2, the backing vocals are made slightly more prominent in "Under the Sign of Winx", and in season 3, it has male backing vocals added and the female backing vocals are made even more prominent. However, the instrumental was not changed from the season 1 version in either instance, unlike the Italian and English versions.
  • The Winx Club logo is localised in the opening titles, but instead of using textless assets, the North Macedonian logo is simply overlaid on top of the original one. The original logo is retained in ending credits and at the end of episodes 326 and 426. As well as that, dubbing credits are added as scrolling text over the ending credits and sometimes over the previews. However, episode title cards are not localised and are instead cut out entirely.
  • Believix was translated as Моќта на верувањето (translated: "the power of belief"), while other transformations did not have their names translated.

Errors[]

  • Episodes 308, 605, and 726 were skipped for unknown reasons.
  • In season 3, the dub was inconsistent about how loud the male backing vocals were in the theme song.
  • Episode 316 uses the M&E for episode 315, causing the studio to have to cut in Cinélume's English version for transformations. As well as that, the English version cuts in too early during Bloom's Enchantix transformation, due the adaptation of Bloom's line "Valtor will not win, ever!" ("Валтор нема да победи") being too short, meaning that part of her English line becomes audible.[1]
  • In episode 414, the English acapella for Musa's song "Two Hearts Forever" is simply deleted and not replaced with anything, leading the song to play as instrumental while her mouth moves with nothing coming out of it.[2]
  • In episode 526, the English acapella for Bloom's song "Magic of Tonight" is simply deleted and not replaced with anything, leading the song to play as instrumental while her mouth moves with nothing coming out of it.[3]
  • For all episodes of Season 8, the M&E tracks are in low quality.
