Гора самоцветов is a Russian animated series produced by the Pilot animation studio. The first 11 shorts of the series were premiered on February 11, 2005 at the 10th Open Russian Festival of Animated Films in Suzdal.
The series' shorts are based on folk tales from various parts and nationalities of Russia. All of the shorts open with a "This is Russia" segment which explains about the history of Russia, as well as its cities and nationalities.
