بارباپاپا is one of two Persian dubs of Barbapapa. Being the first Persian dub of the series, it first aired on IRIB TV2 in Iran in the 1990's. The dub had also aired on IRIB Esfahan. Much later, the dub would reair on the children's TV network, IRIB Pooya. It had recently been broadcasted on GEM Classic around December of 2022.

- The opening theme cuts to the ending part, and it is instrumental, with a voice-over saying the title.
- The footage used for the dub on IRIB TV2 were TV rips from Nickelodeon in Spain, that noticeably blanked out the channel's name; these were later dropped, in favor of logoless rips, once the show started airing on Pooya.
- This is one of a few dubs to give individual voices to each character in season one, when in the original, the narrator voiced for everyone in that season.
