Not to be confused with the IRIB dub. |
بارباپاپا is one of two Persian dubs of Barbapapa. Produced by Qualima in the 2010's[2], this dub was broadcast on the Radio 7 block of IRIB Amoozesh.[3] This is despite that the previous dub was exclusively airing on several other IRIB stations in the 2000's. This dub is based on the Japanese release of the 1990 English dub, and because of this, only one season was dubbed.
The first two batch of episodes were released on the service Filimo on April 25, 2018; the last batch was later released on April 17, 2019.

Notes[]
- The dub uses the Japanese release of the English The Video Warehouse dub as its base, therefore retaining trivia relative to that version:
- The opening theme is instrumental.
- The episodes, on the streaming service Filimo, are split into 3 batches, all of which host the episodes completely out of order.
- The ending credits to the Japanese DVD dub (which is released on the same DVDs as the English dub) are left intact.
- Only the first season was dubbed.
- This dub tends to use its own background music and sound effects.
- This is one of a few dubs to give individual voices to each character, when in the original, the narrator voiced for everyone in season one.
