سوبر ماريو بروس، الفيلم is the Arabic dub of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The film itself was officially released to the general public on April 6, 2023 in Israel,[2] April 19, 2023 in Egypt, and April 20, 2023 in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, coinciding with the Eid al-Fitr weekend. Prior to its release in the Arab world, the film had a special premiere on April 12, in The Dubai Mall, as organised by Reel Cinemas.[3]
The film was released theatrically in English with Arabic subtitles in all markets mentioned above (excluding Israel), and an Arabic dub was also made available. However, the Arabic dub's release was limited, as it was not available in all the mentioned markets, and various cinema chains did not exhibit the dub in some of their locations. It did not help that the film's distributors and exhibitors barely advertised the existence of the Arabic dub in any shape or form online as well. The dub was recorded specifically in the Egyptian Arabic dialect by Cairo-based Masreya Media; there is no known Standard Arabic variant dub.
The film's European French dub was also discreetly released in cinemas in Algeria, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, and Tunisia.
