Notes[]

  • This dub was unlicensed and was not authorized by Sega and TMS.
  • Farzad Shirmohammadi (Eggman) would later go on to reprise his role in Wave Studio's dub.
  • The opening theme of the series is based on the English theme song, "Gotta Go Fast". Here, it features an remade instrumental meant to closely resemble the English theme's instrumental.
    • Because of this, it is arguably the most recognizable Persian dub of the series, with even Sonic fans outside of Iran recognizing the efforts of the dubbing studio behind the opening when posted to YouTube.
    • The opening theme infamously mentions the name of the channel it airs on, Persian Toon. The lyric translates to "Sitting in front of the TV watching Persian Toon".
    • This opening theme was later reused and remixed in the much later produced Wave Studio dub. The lyric about Persian Toon is replaced and redubbed with the name of the service that dub was released on, Namava, while the rest of the vocals remain intact over a slightly different instrumental.
