غيمة is the Arabic dub of マシュマロ通信. It has previously aired on Al Aoula and Qatar TV, and it is currently airing on Spacetoon.

A DVD boxset containing the full dubbed series was released by Tihama Publishing sometime around the late 2000's.

In the original Japanese version, ナッツ (Nuts) shared a voice with サンディ (Sandy) 's father. In this version, he instead shares the same voice actor with Sandy's mother.

Some character names that were originally based on fruits and plants were adapted.

ライム (Lime) is Lawz, which means almond.
バジル (Basil) is Fullah, a type of flower.
クローブ (Clove) is Nagham, which means a tune or a melody. In reference to his love for music.
ナッツ (Nuts) is Warrd, which means roses. In reference to his love for gardening.
サンディ (Sandy) 's name was kept the same.

Lime's flirtatious characterization has been toned down, and he was instead given a "sports loving" personality.
- For example, every time Lime originally mentioned that he was going on dates, it was changed to sport practice, and so on.
シナモン (Cinnamon) 's talk of fortune-telling and interest in mystical things were changed to random things in the first episodes, then it was kept. Though sometimes there were added one-lines calling her fortune-telling to be false when it's brought up.
