Censorship[]

Although the show is not censored on Disney Channel and Disney+, MBC3 and Ajyal TV airings censored some scenes to better appeal to socially conservative morals frequently found in the Arab world. For example, scenes of romance and on-screen kisses were cut.

During the song "Candace Party", Candace spelling out the words 'Intimate Get Together' on a banner was cut, likely due to it being mistaken for an innuendo, as "intimate" can be a euphemistic adjective for a sexual relationship.[2]

On Jeem TV broadcasts, some scenes involved kissing in "Dude, Were Getting The Band Back Together" were cut.

Notes[]

  • This dub, along with the Icelandic dub, are the only dubs where the characters' names are localized.
  • Unlike Disney Channel, MBC3 and Ajyal TV, Jeem TV aired the dub with visual localization.
    • Interestingly, the localization used in the intro fairly differs from most other international localizations; almost all the textless assets are retained, and the logo appearing on screen at the end is animated differently, as it occupies most of the screen and abruptly disappears at the last minute.
  • In the first season and the first part of the second season, when Doofenshmirtz says, “Curse you, Perry the Platypus,” it was dubbed as, “I hate you, Perry the Platypus.” However, starting from the episode Finding Mary McGuffin, they began using the phrase, “Curse you, Perry the Platypus.”
