ماداگاسکار ۲ (also known as ماداگاسکار ۲: فرار به آفریقا) is one of several Persian dubs of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

- This is the first Madagascar film dubbed by Glory Entertainment to be publically released, as their dub of the first film was shelved for unknown reasons.
- This dub was done within a period of two weeks, the recording took 4 days, the translation took 3 days and the audio mixing took a week.
- When Banafsheh Taherian received the translated dub script, half of it was written on a computer and the other half by hand, which greatly complicated the adaptation process.
- She worked at said job from noon on Monday until 3 a.m. the following Tuesday.
- This script was delivered to her on a Saturday at noon, but she did not have the opportunity to fix it until the following Monday at noon.
- Banafsheh has said that her work as director of this dub was highly stressful, since the film has a large number of characters, using 30 actors just for the minor characters, which was overwhelming since she had only had one experience previously as director.
- The directing job had been offered to several veterans of the studio, but none accepted the job due to lack of time and the complexity of the project.
- Banafsheh accepted the directing job due to the great reputation of the project, being a unique opportunity in her words. She also attributes her lack of opportunities in the field to her being overweight at the time.
- The work days in this dub lasted from 10 in the morning to 12:30 at midnight, without access to food, drink or breaks.
- Banafsheh says she had several dreams related to Madagascar during this time.
- Banafsheh finished her experience highly tired, stressed and sad, but also excited about the final work and its reception. She jokes that her work caused hallucinations that led her to see the animals from the film in front of her.
- Banafsheh credits her success in dealing with dub to the kindness and good treatment on the part of the team involved, with the exception of Mehrdad Raissi.
- She says she wouldn't have been able to deal with the job if it wasn't for the team.
