مختبر دكستر is one of several Arabic dubs of Dexter's Laboratory. It has previously aired on MBC 3 and Ajyal TV, and it is currently airing on Cartoon Network. The dub first premiered in MBC 3 in Late 2000s after they acquired rights for Cartoon Network shows. As of 2010, the series no longer airs on the channel, most likely due to Cartoon Network launching in the Arab world the same year; they aired this dub until 2014, with occasional reruns until 2016. The show would later return to the channel on October 1, 2020, until October 29 of the same year, would come back yet again on July 3, 2022, until October 2 of the same year. And as of 2024, the show is still airing on Cartoon Network durning late nights via CN Off-Air block along with Megas XLR, Codename: Kids Next Door, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Camp Lazlo and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Originally premiered on Spacetoon, with a dub produced externally under license from Warner Bros. Entertainment, this show, along with others from Cartoon Network, would receive a redub when acquired by MBC 3, due to the constant censorship and changes of the Venus Center dub, which would apply to almost all CN series first released on Spacetoon, except for Ben 10.
Ajyal TV also aired the show between the mid to late 2010s (no later than 2013) along with other CN shows such as Samurai Jack and Codename: Kids Next Door. However, insults like “idiot” and “fool”, and grotesque humor like farts, butt scenes, and burps were censored in Ajyal airings.
While the last two seasons of the show did get dubbed in Arabic, they never aired on neither tv channel, only clips got uploaded to YouTube.
