This article is about the IRIB Persian dub. For the other dubs of the same name, see
the AV Line Company, and Kurdsat Kurdish dubs.

هایدی، دختر آلپ (or simply هایدی) is the Persian dub of アルプスの少女ハイジ. It has previously aired on IRIB TV1 and IRIB Nahal. For this dub, only 40 of the 52 episodes of the series were dubbed. The entire initial story of the series is omitted: in this dub, the story stars with Heidi, that already live in the Alps; and the rest of the narrated stories are reduced to fewer episodes, consequently. Besides, the episodes are shortened, lasting in the Persian dub only 20 minutes maximum, when in the original series, the episodes lasted 25 minutes.

This dub is available in its entirety on the video-on-demand service Digitoon. It can also be found for free on websites such as Aparat.

IRIB Channels[]

The series was first premiered on IRIB TV1 on an unknown date in the 1990s.[1] Subsequently, it was part of the pilot programmation of IRIB Pooya, during its launch in 2012, and later, it was part of the final programmation of IRIB Nahal, presumably from 2015.

This dub itself has certain atypical details, if we compare it with more recent Persian dubs. For example, it never shows a localized title in the opening (not even the western or Japanese title), and is limited only to saying Heidi's name in Persian by a voiceover. Also, in dub participated major age Iranian voice actors, who have been involved in dubbing for over 40 years.

Home video[]

The Iranian distributor Soroush distributed this dub in home format, on 8 DVDs, with 40 chapters (5 chapters, for each DVD).[2]

Opening and Ending[]

Sample dubbings[]

Adaptation[]

  • The entire soundtrack was changed. Also, it is an old dub, since even in the versions with a remastered video, the audio is heard of low quality.
  • This dub has two versions, which differ from each other only by their image quality, but which maintain the same audio:
    • The classic, using old Japanese TV masters, as evidenced by its picture quality, which was broadcast during IRIB Pooya's test stage, and before, on IRIB TV1. The chapters of this version are all complete on aparat.com,[3]
      • This version had a different opening, which used part of the soundtrack from the British animated film The Snowman (1982), mainly in the opening and ending. The opening and ending are exactly the same, with the difference that the opening usually includes Heidi's name in Persian, read by female voice-over.
    • The remastered version, for IRIB Nahal, using the remastered German masters, possibly downloaded from the internet.[4] Of this remastered version in Persian, there are not many images, curiously, not even on Aparat, much less on YouTube.
      • The opening is almost the same, although they use different images. The ending however changes, using a version of the credit-less anime's ending taken from YouTube,[5] which included the ending lyrics in Spanish. [6]
