- According to interviews given by Hamed Azizi, working on this dub was "hell", because Mehrdad Raissi made him record all his dialogues in a single session of 8 to 9 hours straight without a break, during which he was insulted and verbally abused.
- After receiving his pay, he would resign from the studio and soon after found his own studio, Qualima, which dubbed the subsequent Kung Fu Panda films with him as Po.
- While waiting for the dub to be released, Hamed hoped that DVD sales would be a failure, so that he could "let such a bad experience die", however, the dub was a resounding success, selling 2 million DVD copies in a week and turning Po into his most famous character.
