あずきちゃん (Azuki-chan) is a Japanese anime series based off the manga of the same name by Yashushi Akimoto. It premiered on April 4, 1995, and ended on March 17, 1998. Produced by Studio Madhouse, the series follows fifth-grader Azusa Noyama, who is most commonly nicknamed Azuki, as she falls in love with a transfer student.
