Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary (クレヨンしんちゃん オラたちの恐竜日記, Kureyon Shinchan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki) is a 2024 Japanese anime science fiction action-adventure film produced by Shin-Ei Animation, TV Asahi, ADK Emotions, and Futabasha, and distributed by Toho. It released in theaters in Japan on August 9, 2024. The film's screenplay is written by Moral and directed by Shinobu Sasaki. It is 31st official feature-length film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, and the 32nd film based on the property overall, following New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super-Powered Climactic Battle ~Soaring Hand-Rolled Sushi~. The film follows Shinnosuke's summer vacation, in which he is invited to Dinosaur Island, a large theme park opening in Tokyo that brings dinosaurs back to life in modern times. Shin-chan and his friends have a thrilling encounter with dinosaurs at the park. Meanwhile, the Kasukabe Defense Force meets Nana, a small dinosaur that Shiro finds by the river in Kasukabe. They spend summer vacation together and make precious memories. However, the good times do not last long, as a huge dinosaur suddenly tramples the Noharas' home one night, causing a panic. The dinosaurs appear on the streets of the city in the morning, leading the kids to begin a fierce duel with dinosaurs in order to protect their new friend Nana.
