Crayon Shin-chan: Super Elegant! The Burning Kasukabe Dancers[1] (クレヨンしんちゃん 超華麗!灼熱のカスカベダンサーズ, Kureyon Shinchan: Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dansāzu) is an upcoming 2025 Japanese animated film produced by Shin-Ei Animation It will be released in theaters in Japan on August 8, 2025. The film's screenplay is written by Kimiko Ueno and directed by Masakazu Hashimoto. It is 32nd mainline feature-length film in the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, and the 33rd film based on the property overall. In Shin-chan's first dance-themed movie, the film takes place in the fictional city of Mushibai, located in the fictional state of Higashimiru, India. Mushibai becomes a sister city to Kasukabe, where Shin-chan lives. To celebrate the cities twinning, the "Kasukabe Kids Entertainment Festival" holds a dance competition with a trip to India as the grand prize. Shinnosuke and the Kasukabe Guard join in, hoping to win. While sightseeing in India, Shinnosuke and Bo buy a mysterious backpack. The bag hides a secret, as inside it is a piece of tissue paper that gets lodged in Bo-chan’s nose. When his runny nose stops, something mysterious happens, transforming him into a powerful tyrant with powers that can cause destruction. Now, Shinnosuke and his friends must stop him before his newfound power causes chaos.
