ゲラゲラポーのうた (Romaji: Geragerapo no Uta; English: Gera Gera Po Song, literally The Hahaha Song) is the first opening song of the 2014 anime Yo-kai Watch, performed by King Cream Soda. It plays at the beginning of the first 36 episodes and 50th episode in Asia, the first 9 episodes and odd-numbered episodes from 11 to 17 in the Americas, and from episodes 27 to 76 in Europe. The song is about the many unexpected problems that happen in daily life, while also including several verses about a creature that is in need of a home, representing the balance of comedy and tragedy of the anime series, and to an extent the franchise as a whole.

- In western broadcasts, the beginning scenes of Nate and Whisper up to the Yo-kai being seen in public have been replaced with clips from the anime representing Yo-kai in the lyrics. Despite that, the Japanese text on the construction site is oddly retained.
- In the localized versions of the anime, the song has extra percussion, an extra guitar in the moody section, and a whooshing sound after Whisper first appears on screen.
- In an interview with David H. Steinberg, the writers for the dentsu dub of the anime and the co-writer of the song, [1] the lyric "There's more Yo-kai than taters in Idaho" was made up as a funny line to show the quantity of Yo-kai, than the location of Springdale taking place in that State. He further states that he learned of a town called Springdale in Idaho, but further denied the coincidence and described the dub's setting as "an average American town".
- In European airings, the song is used as the opening for the entirety of the Season 2 dub.
- This song was used for 37 episodes, the most for any opening theme in the series.
- Gera Gera Po is the most remixed song in the series, having been remixed 7 times on top of the original.
- It is revealed in episode 138 that a part of the song is the school hymn for Springdale Elementary.
