スペースチャンネル5 is a 1999 rhthym video game developed and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. The first installment in the Space Channel 5 series, the game focuses on Ulala, who is tasked with getting Channel 5's rating up and running by dancing and shooting to stop the evil Morolians who are forcing people to dance. The game was released in Japan on December 16, 1999. A version for the PlayStation 2 (due to a 2000 restructuring of development studios at Sega, it was ported by their UGA division) released on December 12, 2002.
