Trivia[]

  • This is the first Super Mario game since the appearance of the floating Mario head in Mario Teaches Typing (as well as Mario's Game Gallery) to not have Charles Martinet voicing Mario, and also the first one since Luigi's Mansion to not have him voicing Luigi. Additionally, this is the first game since Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour to not have Deanna Mustard voicing Princess Daisy.
    • Additionally, this is the first Super Mario game to have Kevin Afghani as the new voice for Mario and Luigi, as well as to have Giselle Fernandez as the new voice for Princess Daisy.
  • The talking flowers are the only characters in this game whose voices are dubbed into other languages. It is also possible to change the voice language of the talking flowers in-game without restarting the game or changing the console's system language, similarly to how changing the voice language for certain NPCs works in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
