マーメイド メロディー ぴちぴち ピッチ is a Japanese animated TV series created by Michiko Yokoto. It is composed of two seasons and 91 episodes in total. It was animated by Actas and Synergy Japan and produced by TV Aichi.
The anime tells the story of Lucia Nanami, a mermaid princess of the North Pacific Ocean, who sets out to land to find the boy she saved from a tsunami wave seven years ago. She can't tell him that she is a mermaid, otherwise, she'll turn into sea foam. Meanwhile, the mermaid kingdoms are in peril due to invasion from a group of water demons and Lucia must use the power of her pearl to find the seven mermaid princesses and bring back the sea goddess Aqua Regina. Together with her friends, Hanon Hosho and Rina Toin, she must battle the water demons with their Pichi Pichi voices in order to find the princesses and restore the peace to the ocean.
