Metal Fight Beyblade (メタルファイトベイブレード) is a Japanese anime television series produced by TV Tokyo and d-rights and animated by Tatsunoko Production (season 1) and SynergySP (seasons 2-4) under the direction of Kunihisa Sugishima and published by d-rights. It was adapted from the manga of the same title by Takafumi Adachi and the 2nd generation of Beyblade toyline series of the same title produced by Takara Tomy.
Plot[]
The plot of each season were set up by the characters' different goals.
Season 1[]
The first season follows the story of a young blader called Hagane Ginga who traveled around Japan searching for strong bladers to battle against and befriend with. His main goal is to stop the Dark Nebula organization's ambition to conquer the earth with the forbidden Bey, Lightning L-Drago owned by Ryuuga. In order to achieve that goal, Ginga and his friends and allies had to go through tournament after tournament organized by the World Beyblade Battle Organization (WBBA) and fought against the top Dark Nebula organization members there.
Season 2[]
The second season, titled Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion continues the story after Ginga was able to destroy the dark power inside Ryuuga's Lightning L-Drago at Battle Bladers, at the cost of Storm Pegasis' vanishment into the stardust right after. Ginga then went back to Koma Village to get his hands on a legendary Bey, which then named "Galaxy Pegasis" by him. Soon after, a new challenger, Kadoya Masamune came to fight against Ginga. He wanted to "reclaim his no. 1 blader status" but ended up getting defeated by Ginga multiple times. After those battles, a world tournament called Big Bang Bladers was announced. Each participating countries were required to have 4 competitors selected from the qualifier rounds. Gan-Gan Galaxy, the Japanese representative team consists of Ginga, Masamune, and Ootori Tsubasa as the main competitors and Tendou Yuu as a substitute.
Season 3[]
The third season, titled Metal Fight Beyblade 4D set the story's focus on the 10 Legendary Bladers chosen by 10 Star Fragments and their mission to dethrone the Black Sun God/God of Destruction Nemesis once and for all. The resurgence of Nemesis as an active thread for Earth was called as the Nemesis Crisis.
Season 4[]
The fourth and final season, titled Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G introduced a new cast of characters mostly replacing the likes of Ginga and his old companions. The story starts up with a small blader named Kurogane Zero whom received Samurai Ifraid from Ginga after the Nemesis Crisis ended. Zero then set a goal to surpass Ginga in the future. 7 years after, he went to Metal Bey City to search for strong bladers to help him improve his blading skills. Halfway through the season, the Dark Nebula organization resurged with a new name, "Dark Nebula Again". The group mainly consisted of Team Garcias in addition of new antagonists.
