レレレの天才バカボン' is a Japanese anime comedy television series based on the manga 天才バカボン by Fujio Akatsuka. The fourth animated adaptation of the manga of the same name and the second to be produced by Studio Pierrot after 1990's 平成天才バカボン, it was directed by Hayato Date and written by Masaki Tsuji. The series aired on TV Tokyo and other TX Network affiliates from October 19, 1999 to March 21, 2000 for 24 episodes.
