地球戦隊ファイブマン is a Japanese tokusatsu television series. It was Toei Company Limited's fourteenth production of the Super Sentai metaseries.
This is the first Super Sentai series to have siblings on a team, that consists of three brothers and two sisters. The team's theme focuses on school subjects (Science, P.E., Language Arts, Music and Math).
Fans have often pinned the blame on this series for being the reason that nearly caused the franchise as a whole to be cancelled, due to obviously clear low ratings of an average 6.5% (which mattered at the time, as like most long-running franchises tend to have rating declines) and poor toy sales. It would take the next series 鳥人戦隊ジェットマン and 恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー to bring the series back on track.
