天官赐福 a Chinese animated series (donghua) based on the novel of the same name by Moxiang Tongxiu. The action takes place in a fictional world where people, gods and demons exist. Eight hundred years ago, Xie Lian was the crown prince of the Xianle Kingdom and was considered everyone's favorite. Having achieved enlightenment, he ascended to Heaven at a young age, but was twice overthrown from there due to unfortunate events. Now Xie Lian ascends to Heaven for the third time and becomes the laughing stock of all three kingdoms.
