守護月天! is a Japanese magic-comedy anime television series based on the manga まもって 守護月天! written and illustrated by Minene Sakurano. The series was directed by Yukio Kaizawa and produced by Toei Animation. The series focuses on the life of Tasuke Shiguchi who is changed forever when he receives a crystal named the Shinterin. TO his surprise, he encounters Shaolin, the spirit of the moon who becomes his guardian angel. The series aired on TV Asahi from October 18, 1998 to April 3, 1999 for 22 episodes.
