映画マイリトルポニー プリンセスの大冒険 is the Japanese dub of My Little Pony: The Movie. It was released on DVDs alongside a rental release in Japan on December 5, 2018[1], forgoing a theatrical release in the country.

- During the production of the film, the Japanese dub of the parent series had been in a hiatus since 2014. Therefore, the dubbing cast of the first two seasons reprise their respective roles in the dub of the film, as is the case with the Equestria Girls films.
- The dub of the parent series would resume in 2019, just a few months after the release of the film in Japan, with a different cast.
