暁のヨナ (Romaji: Akatsuki no Yona) is a Japanese drama anime television series based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Mizuho Kusanagi.
It is set in an East Asian fantasy world, notably a fictional kingdom called Kouka, which made up of various regions and tribes, and also draws significant elements from both Korean and Chinese cultures. It follows Princess Yona, who flees her home after a coup d'état and embarks on a journey to save her kingdom.
