烈火の炎 is a Japanese anime television series produced by Studio Pierrot, based on the manga of the same name by Nobuyuki Anzai. The series was directed by Noriyuki Abe and written by Hiroshi Hashimoto. The series focuses on a biy named Recca Hanabishi who finds out that is actually the son of the sixth warrior of the Hokage and must use his strange powers to overcome his past and face his destiny. The series aired on Fuji Television from July 19, 1997 to July 10, 1998 for 42 episodes.
