美鳥の日々 (Romaji: Midori no Hibi) is a Manga written and drawn by Kazurou Inoue, being published on the "Weekly Shonen Sunday" from September 2002 to July 2004. The manga had it's animated adaptation produced by Pierrot, airing from April 4, 2004 to June 27 of the same year, being broadcasted on various JAITS.

Plot[]

The main character, Seiji Sawamura, is a 17 year old student with dyed blond hair and a fight addiction. Because of his behaviour he always stays in trouble, but in these, it is his enemies who always get the worst of it. Seiji is not pleased with his life, as girls are afraid of him, which is why he has never had a girlfriend in his life. After receiving his 20th rejection he laments that "the only girlfriend he's ever had is his right hand", and discovers the next morning that she has disappeared and in her place is a girl named Midori Kasugano, about the size of his hand, who has long been in love with him but has no idea how she got there. From then on, the two will live a life full of upheavals and entanglements in which Seiji must manage to keep their situation secret for the safety of both of them.
