鉄腕アトム is a Japanese animated series produced by Mushi Productions based on the manga of the same name by Osamu Tezuka that originally aired on Fuji TV from January 1, 1963 to December 31, 1966. It is the first adaptation of the manga.

The character design for this work was primarily drawn by Osamu Tezuka, but some episodes were created with the cooperation of Fujiko F. Fujio, Fujiko Fujio A, and Shinichi Suzuki. However, the character illustrations differed depending on the artist.
