銀牙 -流れ星 銀- is a Japanese animated television series directed by Tomoharu Katsumata and produced by Toei Animation, based on the 1983 manga of the same name by Yoshihiro Takahashi. It premiered on TV Asahi on April 7, 1986.
The series follows the life of an Akita puppy named Gin who leaves his master to join a pack of wild dogs. The pack recruits dogs from all over Japan to help fight a deranged bear named Akakabuto.
A sequel titled 銀牙伝説WEED aired on Animax from November 3, 2005 to May 11, 2006.
