電撃戦隊チェンジマン is a Japanese tokusatsu television series. It was Toei Company Limited's ninth production of the Super Sentai metaseries.
This entry is unique as being the first to have a team cannon/bazooka. It's also known to have the first white female Ranger on the main team, as well as two completely original movies. This is also the first and only entry in the entire franchise where the series has a unique start and finish setup dates of the premiere of the first episode and the airing of its' last episode. The first episode aired on February 2, 1985 and finished with its' last episode on February 22, 1986.
Running at 55 episodes, this is the second longest Super Sentai entry of all time, just behind 秘密戦隊ゴレンジャー which ran for as much as 84 episodes. The reason this series aired for 55 episodes was due to production issues occurring on with its' next series 超新星フラッシュマン while still in it's early development stages and was delayed until finally airing on March 1, 1986.

Trivia[]
- In France, this was the only Post-Bioman series to be skipped, before Mighty Morphin Power Rangers aired in the region. A magazine claimed it was supposed to air there in the early 1990s, but AB Groupe never got the series from Toei Company as it wasn't offered to them, from the start.
