Censorship[]
In this dub, Clyde addresses Howard as his uncle and Harold as his only father, as the dubbing studio felt that the depiction of same-sex parents was not appropriate for a children's TV show. Homosexuality is seen as taboo in South Korea, where same-sex relationships are not recognized and self-censorship of LGBT content occasionally occurs,[2] despite the country not having any laws which censor such content in the media.
Additionally, Luna's girlfriend Sam was given a male voice actor (Kim Hye-sung) like in the Arabic dub, but only in her debut episode. She was subsequently recast with a female voice actor (Yang Jeong-hwa) and addressed as Luna's pal from Season 3 onwards.
