Trivia[]

  • Both Park Hye-na (박혜나) and Jeong Sun-ah (정선아), who voiced Elphaba and Glinda respectively, have previously portrayed these roles in the Korean stage production of Wicked. They starred as Elphaba and Glinda in the original Korean productions in 2013 and 2016, with Jeong Sun-Ah reprising her role as Glinda in the 2021 revival.
    • In addition, like Idina Menzel, the original Broadway Elphaba, Park Hye-na provides the Korean singing voice for Elsa in Disney’s Frozen. She has shared four roles with Menzel: Elphaba in Wicked, Elizabeth in If/Then, the singing voice of Elsa in Frozen, and the singing voice of Nancy Tremaine in Disenchanted.
    • Hye-na has also dubbed Cynthia Erivo as The Blue Fairy in the Korean dub of Disney's live-action Pinocchio.
