짱구랑 영어랑 is one of several English dubs of クレヨンしんちゃん. Its episodes were released on DVD and VCD in South Korea; the dub was also produced in said country.
This dub was produced in order to teach South Korean children English; a "Let's Speak in English" segment was added on each disc, in which a narrator repeats various sentences that were said during the episode; a "What's this?" segment was also added, in which the viewer identifies objects from the episode in English with the help of the narrator. Viewers could also see the characters and the theme song. Twelve segments of the series were released. Each episode also has English and Korean subtitles, and English forced subtitles. Some releases have six additional segments with Korean audio, three of which being the same as dubbed in English. Only the first six segments released have English-translated title cards. The dub is based directly on the Korean version, and as such, it uses identical terminology and character names. The first half of the dub is based on the direct-to-video Korean dub, specifically volume 1 of 헬로우 짱구, and the second half is based on the TV Korean dub, from S2E6 and S2E25c, aired on SBS, with the exception of Eating with manners and Please sign the book, normally S2E8ab in the SBS version.
Release[]
The first 2 DVD volumes of the dub were released in South Korea on February 19, 2004 by the company Wision. On December 17, 2004, the discs were released in a bundle. Daekyung would rerelease the episodes from these DVDs, as well as release an additional pack with two more discs on January 12, 2006. The episodes were rereleased in a 2-disc set with all 12 segments on October 25, 2007. Each disc also had a separate release on VCD. They were sometimes bundled with other releases by Daekyung.

- Although the cast has not been identified, the voices seem to be reused from other South Korean dubs made for learning English. Notably, Hiroshi's voice in the dub sounds similar to the voice used for Pingu's father in Pingu.
