태양의 후예 is a South Korean drama series that aired in KBS2 from February 24 - April 14, 2016, for 16 episodes. The show is so popular in South Korea where it recieved several awards, and became the Most Popular Show of the year by the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation.
This drama tells of the love story that develops between a surgeon and a special forces officer. Some relationships are fated, despite the challenges of time and place.
