A Canção do Sul (also known as Canção do Sul and Nosso Amigo Tio Remus) is one of several Portuguese dubs of Song of the South. It was released in theaters in Brazil on an unknown date in 1974 as part of a re-release.
While the film had been released in Brazil earlier on December 23, 1948, it was undubbed for technical reasons, as other films released around the same time were being dubbed on Continental Discos in 1947.[1] Thus, this marks the first time the film has been dubbed for a Brazilian release.
