A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith is a 1999 American animated television special produced by John Kricfalusi and his animation studio Spumco. A parody of the Yogi Bear franchise, the special revolves around Ranger Smith, who wakes up one depressing morning and goes on through his job duties through Jellystone Park.

The special first aired on September 24, 1999 along with fellow special Boo Boo Runs Wild on Cartoon Network, being broadcast at 10pm for both Eastern and Pacific time zones. Commercials for its original airing advertised the shorts as being from the original creator of Ren & Stimpy. The special then had frequent reairings on their adult-oriented block [adult swim], with the special also available on their site.
