Censorship[]
Episodes featuring LGBT characters (e.g. Clyde's fathers Howard and Harold, Luna and her girlfriend Sam) were skipped during regular episode premieres on Nickelodeon Central and Eastern Europe due to the channel's censorship of such content. Since July 2021, the dissemination and promotion of LGBT content to under-18s has been prohibited by law in Hungary as part of an intensified crackdown on LGBT rights and expression, despite same-sex relationships being recognized in the country.
- This also caused "Scoop Snoop" to also be banned due to Lincoln and Clyde cross-dressing.
However, there have been several exceptions:
- "Friendzy", "What Wood Lincoln Do?" and "Cooked!" were aired, as Howard, Harold and Sam appeared, but had no speaking roles.
- "Antiqued Off" was aired, giving Howard a speaking role in the dub, as Harold did not appear.
- "Deep Cuts", "Snoop's On" and "Band Together" were aired, giving Sam a speaking role in the dub, as her relationship with Luna was not brought up.
- "11 Louds a Leapin'", "Kick the Bucket List", "Snow Way Down" and several Season 4 episodes featuring said characters were aired from April 2020 onwards, while "Singled Out", "Brave the Last Dance" and the rest of the banned episodes in seasons 1–3 were aired from 2022 onwards.
- Even though "Overnight Success", "Attention Deficit" and "Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru" premiered on Nicktoons HD CEE, they are still shown with music and effects track only. This also applies to the Bulgarian, Czech and Romanian dubs.
"Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru" was dubbed in Hungarian and released on SkyShowtime on February 12, 2023 in Portugal, followed by "Overnight Success" on April 6, 2023, but the episodes were not available to Hungarian viewers until June 11, 2023, when the entire first season, including "Attention Deficit", was eventually made available in Hungary.
Trivia[]
- Both the director and the first sound engineer make cameos via minor roles.
