A Porquinha Peppa is the European Portuguese dub of Peppa Pig. Initially produced by Somnorte in Porto, it premiered on Nickelodeon sometime in 2007. The dub would also begin airing on Canal Panda in 2011. RTP2 later would only air the first two seasons begining in 2009, before the series was dropped from the channel's lineup.
In 2014, Canal Panda would premiere the dub's third season. However, the dub would experience a change in studios, now being produced by Via Satélite in Lisbon.
