Alvöru skrímsli is the Icelandic dub of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. It has previously aired on Barnarásin and Stöð 2.

Alvöru skrímsli was one of Barnarásin's initial programs when it launched on May 1, 1998 as part of an agreement with Nickelodeon. It would stop airing on the channel on October 17, 1998, when it was shut down. Starting on April 6, 2000, the dub began airing on Stöð 2. It would stop airing there by September 12, 2003.
