Anneke Beukman (born 17 September 1968, in Haarlem) is a Dutch actress, dubbing director and singer. She is best known for being the voice of Twilight Sparkle in both Dutch dubs of the 2010 animated TV series, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
Biography[]
Beukman was born in Haarlem and spent her childhood in Heemstede. She graduated from the Maria More Akademie voor Jazzdans in Amsterdam. After being the lead singer of theater group Jeans for several years, she made the transition to television. There she became known for her role as Nina in the comedy series SamSam, which she fulfilled between 2001 and 2003. Since 2005 she can mainly be heard in dubbings of various children's series broadcast by Nickelodeon, Jetix, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel. She also works as a director for Dutch dubbing, which she did for the 2019 film Aladdin, the animated series What If...? from 2021 from Marvel Studios and the 2022 animated film Turning Red.
