Arctic Dogs (also internationally known as Arctic Justice or Polar Squad in the UK and Ireland) is a 2019 computer-animated comedy film produced by AMBI Media Group, AIC Studios, TATATU and Assemblage Entertainment. Based on a story created by Matthew Lyon, the film was directed by Aaron Woodley, co-directed by Dymos Vrysellas and written by Bob Barlen, Cal Brunker, Bryan Thompson & Woodley and stars the voices of Jeremy Renner, Heidi Klum, James Franco, John Cleese, Omar Sy, Michael Madsen, Laurie Holden, Anjelica Huston, and Alec Baldwin. The film follows the story of Swifty the fox, who dreams of becoming the Top Dog for the Arctic Blast Delivery Service, but when he discovers a plan by Otto von Walrus to drill beneath the Arctic surface to unleash gas to melt the ice, he enlists the help of his friends: P.B., an introverted polar bear, Lemmy, a scatterbrained albatross, Jade, a crafty red fox and two paranoid otters, Leopold and Bertha to put a stop to him and his army of puffins. Entertainment Studios released the film on November 1 in Canada and the United States. It was a box-office bomb, grossing less than a fifth of its production budget of $50 million, and was panned by critics.
