As Aventuras de Gui & Estopa is a cartoon series created by animator Mariana Caltabiano, the series has been aired on Cartoon Network Brasil since 2009, it was based on the film with the same name released in 2008. The characters originated from the children's website Iguinho, belonging to Ig, from which the character Gui took the name of the site.
