Askungen is one of two Swedish dubs of Cinderella. The film was re-dubbed in 1967, 17 years after the first dub, due to the use of archaic language in the first dub.[1]

- The film was censored upon initial release in 1967, though it is unknown what specifically was censored. It was released uncensored in 1991, and all releases ever since have been uncensored.
- Sif Ruud voices the Fairy Godmother in both dubs.
- The 1992 VHS tape credits the 1950 dub's cast despite containing this dub.
- Alice Babs was 43 years old at the time when she voiced Cinderella, while Kristina Adolphson was only 30 years old at the time when she voiced Lady Tremaine.
