Trivia[]
- The adaptors of the Italian version took an extremely free approach to the original and didn't respect the translation of the comics at all.
- Some characters have been drastically changed.
- Numerobis, despite his name, was made into a Sicilian immigrant.
- Amonbofis became a Teutonic with a German accent, called Von Klappe, with several slightly racist jokes thrown in at his expense.
- Several characters speak different Italian dialects.
- The Romans, including Caesar, speak with Roman linguistic coloring, of course.
- The pirates have a Venetian dialect.
- Numerobis speaks Sicilian, which goes hand in hand with the drastic change in the character.
- Several (then) current events were incorporated into the text, such as the moon landing.
