- The film contains no voice actor credits. However, because most of the recurring characters sound identical in Asterix and Cleopatra, it is reasonable to assume that the same cast participated in both films.
- In the English dub, many of the characters' names differ from those used in the rest of the series and books. For example, Getafix retains his original French name Panoramix and Vitalstatistix is renamed Tonabrix. The name alterations were attributed to the film being dubbed in English before the comics were translated, however the characters' names are correct in the intro titles on the UK DVD version. This has been modified for re-releases, with titles reflecting the names mentioned in the film.
- Later releases include the end credits from the British dub of Asterix and the Big Fight.
