Babaužiukai is a 2023 Lithuanian animated series directed by Tadas Vidmantas, written by Tadas Vidmantas and Lina Vidmantė and produced by Jurgita Rakauskaitė. The series was co-financed by the Lithuanian Film Centre and LRT.
The show follows Micito and their everyday adventures along with 40 other small creatures in the world, where each character has their own special power.
The film Babaužiukai. Septynios fantastiškos istorijos was released in 2022 before all episodes were produced, which is a collection of 7 episodes + songs from the series with an added narrator between each. The film was shown at CartoonNext 2023 with English subtitles[2].
The first season premiered on LRT Plius on March 26, 2023 at 8:25. A second season is currently in production.
