Trivia[]

  • The Aparaho dubbing was made in 1994 to preserve the language from extinction. The movie was released in the local theater in Lander, Wyoming, which was rewired by Disney technicians to have the best sound. After that, 2000 VHS of the dubbing were published.[6]
  • In 1947, the Hindustani dubbing of Bambi was made, as it is produced before the Partition of India, the language is formerly known as Hindustani (respectively as Hindi and Urdu nowadays). This dubbing was adapted with localized music. The music of the dub was altered to fit the South Asian culture. And with this work, Walt Disney was award a Golden Globe for "Furthering the Influence of the Screen." [7]
  • The Serbian dub was the very first dub produced in Belgrade to not be a voice-over—as was the case with dubs produced in Belgrade at the time—but a proper lip-sync dub. However, the dub was only released in movie theaters and never received a home media release. Following the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, including the bombing of the RTS headquarters in Belgrade, many old dubs and voice-overs became lost media, including the Serbian dub.
    • However, the dub merely refers to itself as a Serbo-Croatian dub, rather than more specifically a Serbian-language dub, due to being produced well before the breakup of Yugoslavia.
