Bernd Simon was a German voice actor who is probably best known for voicing Moe Szyslak in The Simpsons over many years. Despite him being born in Hamburg, he lived in Munich where he was active most of his time.
Career[]
His father and his sister were singers, which meant that he was active as a singer himself at a young age. In the late 80s, he began to frequently dub in movies and series. In 1991 he started to voice Moe Szyslak in The Simpsons until season 28 in 2017 when he died and when Gudo Hoegel took over his role.
